Unity Peace Camp

July 16 - 20  9:00 am - 4:00 pm

For children ages 4 through 13. $135 for one child; $110 for each additional child. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks provided.

Unity Summer Peace camp offers education in peace skills through a variety of activities such as storytelling, mindfulness, dance, meditation, team building activities, acting skits, drumming, yoga, and arts and crafts.

YFM Annual Back to School Event

July 28  9:00 - 11:00 am

YFM Annual Back to School event provides school and other supplies for the Children's Network of Southwest Florida Foster Families. Donations from our Unity community required include monetary gifts (we will shop for you), school supplies (all types), uniforms, gift cards, socks & underwear, 2" daycare mats, and diapers. Please drop off your donation to the church office by July 26th. This event includes many fun activities for children and families, including arts & crafts and bounce houses.

Edgar Cayce A.R.E. Local Chapter Meetings

Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) local chapter meets weekly in the UniTeen Room in the Chapel Building. This meeting is open to all. Edgar Cayce has been called the "sleeping prophet", the "father of holistic medicine", and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. From holistic health and the treatment of illness to dream interpretation and reincarnation, Cayce's readings and insights offer practical help and advice to individuals from all walks of life, even today. Held in the Chapel Building, love offering.

Refuge Recovery

Non-theistic, Buddhist-inspired approach to recovery from addictions of all kinds

Refuge Recovery is a non-theistic, Buddhist-inspired approach to recovery from addictions of all kinds. We are a community of people dedicated to the practices of mindfulness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity that uses meditation and kindness to heal the pain and suffering that addiction has caused in our lives and in the lives of those around us. Our weekly peer-led meetings include guided meditations, readings from the book Refuge Recovery, group sharing and discussion. Open to people of all backgrounds and respectful of all recovery paths, these meetings are appropriate for anyone in, or interested in, recovery from any form of addictive behavior. No prior meditation experience necessary.

The Gathering Prayer Group

The Gathering prayer practice, based on The Gathering by Rev. Jim Rosemergy, follows a nine-step prayer practice. Affirmations and meditation included. A wonderful way to begin your Sunday! Held in the Chapel Building.

Reiki Healing

Ann Maisch and other practioners provide treatment on massage tables in the UniTeen room. A session lasts 10-20 minutes. Held in the Chapel Building, Love offerings are donated to Unity.
