Greetings everyone! My name is Margery Simon De Witt and I have treasured the last four years of being one of your board members.
I am a retired middle school teacher and have always had a passion for providing spiritual programming for the youth and families of Unity of Fort Myers. I spent five years involved with the Unity Teen program;, presenting life affirming and spiritual lessons during the weekly evening program.
Presently, I am the board liaison for Unity’s Youth and Family Ministry and the community involvement initiative with the Lee Interfaith for Empowerment (LIFE) Organization; a community life force of social activism that improves the quality of life for our neighbors as well as ourselves in Lee County.
Personally, I have been married for 33 years to my dear husband Jim. We are blessed to have a beautiful daughter Francee, who lives close by. I also love forming those special relationships as a self-employed part-time home companion.
